Paul Furino is a board-certified Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner with extensive experience in psychiatric and medical care. He brings a broad clinical background and a patient-centered approach to CareMedica, with a particular focus on understanding each patient as an individual and developing personalized approaches to care.
Paul completed a Post-Master’s program in Psychiatric Mental Health Nursing and holds a Master of Science in Nursing as a Family Nurse Practitioner. He also earned a Master of Business Administration, providing him with a unique combination of clinical, healthcare, and management expertise.
Throughout his career, Paul has worked in a variety of healthcare settings, including private practice, psychiatric care facilities, skilled nursing facilities, primary care, endocrinology, and the Veterans Administration. His experience includes the assessment, diagnosis, and treatment of psychiatric conditions, as well as psychiatric medication management and comprehensive medical care.
Paul has also operated his own independent Nurse Practitioner practice, caring for patients with both medical and psychiatric needs. This experience has strengthened his commitment to providing individualized care while building meaningful, long-term relationships with his patients.
